Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry is envisioned as holistic at Christ Church, and provides opportunities for youth to be engaged in ministry both as receivers and doers.  The Confirmation Ministry Program provides integration of faith and life during the junior youth years.

Snow-tubing and Ice skating  

Friday, January 27th  6:00 p.m.

Downhill Thrills at Heritage Hills in York! Tubing is $20 for adults and $11 ages 6 and under.  Skating is $8; skate rental $3. For more information please email the church or Tracey. To take advantage of group rates, we must pay in advance. Reservations are required and a firm number is needed by Jan. 23rd.

 

Grocery Cards You can support our youth program every time you purchase groceries by using a Weis or Giant gift card. The cards will be available for purchase between worship services. Our youth programs will receive 5 percent from every sale.  This is the not the same as your bonus cards; these cards work just like cash. Since groceries are something we all need, if we make this part of our routine, the proceeds should add up quickly. The money will be put toward camperships, mission trips and the national youth gathering in New Orleans next year.

 

2012 National Youth Gathering  

New Orleans, Lousiana

July 18- 22, 2012

The theme for the Gathering is Citizens with the saints. The registration fee is $315 per person and includes five inspirational session in the Superdome. A $150 nonrefundable deposit person is due at the time of registration and the balance is due on or before May 26, 2012. To learn more, please contact Tracey DePasquale
