• The Complete Organ Works of Johannes Brahms

November 16, 2008  4:00 p.m.   Christ Lutheran Church   29 S. George Street, York Pa.   Todd Davis, organist, will perform the complete organ works of Johannes Brahms. Included in Brahms’ output for organ are 11 chorale preludes, the last music he wrote. The chorale preludes are charming and reach deep into the soul, contemplating life and death. Joy Greene, soprano, will sing the chorale melodies before each prelude.   A reception follows.

• York County Honors Choir 

   January 25, 2009 7:00 p.m. Christ Church will host the York County Honors Choir. Many of our youth have sung in this choir.
