Prayer Shawl Ministry 

 Wednesday, July 14th 2:00 pm    Meet in the Family Room 11.  An opportunity for caring for others, sharing with others, preparing warm shawls to give.  Come to see what this ministry is all about (you don't have to knit to pray!)  To meet others who care - you might make a new friend or 2.  To put your skills to use - praying, knitting, crocheting, weaving.. Call ahead to find out what to bring.  We have patterns for all skill levels.  Whether or not you knit, crochet or weave, please come and join in the ministry of this caring and sharing group.  Contact Carol Schlenker, facilitator; or telephone 843-2927.

Vacation Bible School

Revolution Ballgame 

Saturday, August 7, 2010    Let's all go to the ballgame! Rev's vs. Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Tickets will be available in the lower narthex starting June 27th. 

Parish Retreat 

 August 27-29, 2010    Mark your calendar now! Retreat at Camp Nawakwa. Praying with the church: An Introduction to Prayer in Daily Life. This theme will explore how our daily prayers are joined to that of the whole Church, particularly through the praying of the Daily Office. We will explore the language of prayer, the heritage of prayer, the song of prayer and praying in daily life.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study 

Wednesdays beginning in September 10:00 a.m.   Beginning in September, we will take up the study of the Book of Isaiah. Please plan to join us for this Bible study.
