Anniversary Sunday Service

September 28th one service at 10:00 AM. Bishop Hanson, Presiding Bishop of the ELCA will be preaching and presiding.

 

Congregational Dinner

September 20, 2008

Plan now to attend the dinner at the Valencia Ballroom! The evening begins with a Social Hour in the lower narthex at Christ Church at 5:00 pm. Doors will open at the Valencia at 6:30 pm. Transportation will be provided for those who do not wish to walk. Tickets will be on sale Sundays between the services from August 10th-September 7th. the cost for the evening is $30 for adults and $16 for children 10 and younger. Please contact Liz Culp with any questions.

Archives Room Now Open!

The Archives room located on the second floor of the education building is now open for visitors! The room will be open between services on the last Sunday of each month.

Hymn Festival 

 Sunday, September 28th  4:00 pm   "Jesus Christ: Yesterday, Today, Forever" David Cherwien, organist and cantor at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Minneapolis and director of the National Lutheran Choir will lead this hymn festival. All singers are welcome to take part. The hymn festival choir will rehearse promptly at 2:00 p.m. This event is being supported by the York Chapter of The American Guild of Organists.
